National Diorama Month
The 2026 Diorama-Rama will be held Tuesday, March 31st
at The Milwaukee Public Museum. The fun begins at 6:00 PM.
The 2026 Dioramarama Theme is "NDM/MPM: Dioramas Revisited, Reinvented!" Reimagined"
The theme for the 2026 Diorama-Rama is-“NDM/MPM: Dioramas Revisited, Reinvented, Reimagined”. On the 10 year anniversary of our very 1st Diorama-Rama, we’ll be revisiting the iconic dioramas of our beloved Milwaukee Public Museum! The MPM is having a big year-the last in their current location. What better way to honor their tremendous legacy than by putting your own spin on the historic and creative dioramas that line their hallowed halls? Which one is your favorite? Any dioramas past and present are up for interpretation! 


Tickets are $10, half to the Walker’s Point Center For the Arts

The Diorama-Rama is a family friendly event but adult dioramists only, please. And absolutely NO PEEPS.

This year National Diorama Month has chosen Walker's Point Center for the Arts as charity partner! Help us to raise funds to support the Arts in Milwaukee.
About National Diorama Month
National Diorama Month was founded by Danelle "D" Kirschling to bring attention to this rare and precious resource: dioramas. Each and every year we gather in March to build and celebrate the magical wonder of diorama! 

A diorama is a way to craft an exciting scene in a small space. They often display a historical time period, a nature scene, or a fictional situation, and allow a lot of room for creativity and innovation. Whether your diorama is a school project, a base for a model, or just for fun, building one is easy.
