The 2024 Dioramarama Theme is "What Year is it? A Celebration of the 90s!"

This year your favorite diorama competition goes into the way back machine to visit the 1990’s! Do you remember them? Were you alive then? Give us your take on your favorite 90’s-well, 90’s anything. Store at the mall? Your childhood bedroom? Scene from “90210”? Go for it! Radical! Miss this? As if!

The Diorama-Rama is a family friendly event but adult dioramists only, please. And absolutely NO PEEPS.

This year National Diorama Month has chosen Girls Rock MKE as charity partner! Help to raise funds for music education camps for girls, women, and gender expansive youth and adults!

About National Diorama Month

National Diorama Month was founded by Danelle "D" Kirschling to bring attention to this rare and precious resource: dioramas. Every year we gather in March to build and celebrate the magical wonder of diorama!

A diorama is a way to build an exciting scene in a small space. They usually display a historical time period, a nature scene, or a fictional situation, and allow a lot of room for creativity and innovation. Whether your diorama is a school project, a base for a model, or just for fun, building one is easy.
